| I know this makes me sound really thick, but what do you class as the front of a British coin. The 1p 2p 5p 10p 20p 50p. Is the queens head the front of the coin or is the queens head classed as back of the coin. I always thought by heads and tails, heads was always the front of the coin for some reason. The same goes for the notes. £5 £10 £20 & £50 notes. Which is classed as the front and back? Thanks for your replies in advance. |

| The Queen's head is the "obverse" and the tails side is the "reverse" |
