Just wondered if the heat was beginning to get to people? It would appear that lately threads seem to be turning into nasty, personal slanging matches here on Cyprus 44.



It is such a shame as the board offers a great service and I would understand why so many would turn their backs on it.



The TRNC needs all the help it can get.... so please can people refrain from this nasty petty squabling.

Hi cyprusairsoft and Amber, just having same chat with hattikins, who feels that the forum gets nasty. It is only a few that become derogative and these members end up having the p--s taken out of them. Please dont think its all the forum, its just as cyprusairsoft says, gc infiltrators and ones with no brains!!!

Mostly the threads are useful, I have found it so good to get info as when here in GB you cannot get answers straight away, but with this forum you can. lol to you all,

The GC brigade are generally irritating but some of the posters of late are just disgusting. We have one who finds child abuse a subject for humour and sarcasm, another who calls someone a pisshead and accuses them of drink driving. We have others who make disparaging remarks about peoples job just because they had a different opinion and then get personal and insulting, I was myself ridiculed because of a spelling mistake, it did not bother me but who do these people think they are and what gives them the right to be so obnoxious. This forum used to be good fun, lively topics, tongue in cheek humour, the odd disagreement, but generally a useful and amusing tool for those with an interest in TRNC. Now many of the regular poster don,t join in and I can understand why, it is not a pleasant pastime anymore and you run the risk of upsetting some of the less attractive people and facing their insults. In future I will look in but not bother posting, let the lowlifes run the show.

but a worrying trend is when its your own dishing out the dirt one is so annoying bitter and twisted yet he lives this side of the island and preaches daily because he is on turkish title land bet i got my deeds before he did if he has at all. apologies for spelling but we are all not oxford graduates have asked elko to put the spell checker in.



the gc ones everyone knows who they are are just to be ignored



any forum turns out like this in the end because of course everyone thinks their opinion is correct

Yep, just dont let them grind you down. If someone picks someone up re spelling or grammer, just appogise, as its not a crime for you to be shot. Its what our government do all the time now, Sorry, I did this Sorry I done that and they are still there! So lets just say we all get grumpy at some time, I know I do.

If these infiltraters get at you, I think they should be treated with scorn, as I mostly do when being insulted.

Doesnt upset me, as think they must be very jealous people.

HELLO, I am new to the board. I have noticed that the heat is seeming to get to everyone. A few I know seem to have had a personality change. Just watching Sky News about the heatwave in Britain and there was a woman on talking about just that. Cool down folks, get in the shower or the pool and enjoy your lives here.

Its rather unfortuneate if I do because I only say what I believe in,and if you have no conviction in your life it is time to get in the box and say bye,bye. Half of the time people do not read my posts correctly and jump in with both feet without fore thought.The heat is not getting to me here in Staffordshire,quite cool and refreshing with the odd shower here and there.I am not GC or TC sympathiser and I am certainly not jealous of anyone who resides in either..

We should all be able to put our views over, but if someone does not agree with what you say, that someone should be able reply without being ridiculed, which some of the gc have a habit of doing. lol
