I'm here!!!



Sorry guys, I work and am not in front of a computer all day.



Not sure why people are getting confused, so to make it simple here is a breakdown...

Sorry I did not call you but I wanted to remain anonymous for several reasons, the main reason is that people tend to get involved and help out if the starter is not known. If everyone knew my identity they would be mailing me to organize everything. This is all of our party, lets all chip in.



Seems to me that its been going well. I'll bet there will be more people attending than talk on the thread. We had well over a thousand views on the last thread and only 10% commented. Co

The numbers are looking good, so far I make it around 40 people. Even if half that turn up it will be good.



I noticed that the night seems to have somehow been renamed a "singles" night. Most of my friends that are coming are not single however I am and if there are other singles there, bonus!

Ive been asked yet again for some kind of guide as to the numbers that might turn up on saturday?



ive reserved you all the decked out part of the venue that overlooks the sea.as u walk in the place its right in front of you,past the end of the bar.



but i keep getting asked for numbers,as they take alot of bookings.all i can do is shrugg my shoulders!

A definate 3 here. Was there last Saturday, early on and everywhere was reserved apart form the small tables with high stools. Good idea to get numbers and get it reserved me says!

By my calculations there will be around 40 of us, however the amount of views this thread has had might see a little more. Plus there will be other people there that might want to mix that are already there!!



If I were you I would not worry too much about it, tell your friend that there is no way we can get definite numbers and leave it up to him. I'm sure we will have a great night no matter what...

Just a quick note to say that if anyone fancies meeting up a little earlier, a crowed of us are meeting in the Fez (just across the road from Shayna). The Sultanas of swing or performing there, I have been a few times before and its a good laugh and very entertaining.

From Town:

Heading towards Catalkoy from The peace Monument round-a-bout in Karakum, continue straight passing the following places, The Harley Davidson Garage (on the right), New Lemar supermarket (on the left) and supreme supermarket also on the left. You will shortly come to a set of signs on your left which includes the huge circle logo sign of the Shayna Beach Club (Korfez Beach) for those of you that know it, Shayna Beach club turning is just before the Happy Valley restaurant.



For those of you that wish to meet at the Fez earlier (the true animals among us), After you pass Supreme on your left turn right by the big green arrow for Olive Tree, then almost immediately right. The Fez is on the right.

Very dissapointing when the area was booked for us.



Even had a "reserved for cyprus44" sign up and only half a dozen turned up. It was even plugged on the radio for the last two weeks.



The beachclub is nice though

was a fantastic night, we started at the fez, fantastic entertainment, my cheeks were sore from laughing! a big crowd of us went to Shayna, what a place, what a night, think we rolled in about 3pm.. very funny evening, will be back!!

The whole idea behind me remaining annonymous is so that the night could be organised by all of us and there was absolutely no need for any fuss. I had a great time and met some new people, result!



Thanks to Tim (Dance FM) , you really didn't need to run the door. Glad you managed to join us for some fun though.



All in all I think that most people enjoyed themselves and although it was hard to tell I'm pretty sure we had a good attendance, lots of people came in late.

The reason behind reserving the decked out area overlooking the sea was to see what kind of responce it had,and to see if it was worth doing something else a little diffrent there at a later date,but with having no numbers as to how many actually turned up casts daubts on if it would be worth organising something another time.

I think the misunderstanding was that lots of people on the recommendation of SS went to the Fez first, and we certaainly did not leave to go to Shayna til after the Sultanas had finished, because we were having too good a time, a lot of people left the Fez to go to Shayna we just got there late and by then you had to give up the area.

I am really gutted as couldn't make it and was so looking forward to it!

I had a table at Chateau Lambousa market in the day, it was so hot and was very tired and not feeling well so late afternoon though I'd have a 'disco nap' but woke up late & feeling worse, took 2 more paracetomol and went back to bed :0(

we have to please organise this again with only ONE venue to start from and meet up next time!
