The list for thanking people is far too long to mention everyone but to every company, foundation and each individual who supported us on our Sea side day out for the SOS Project kids, the eight committee members thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of our hearts.



It started off just an idea because many of these children had never seen the sea. Hard to believe when they are living in and around Lefkosa. With everyone’s help we gave them a day to remember. We were able to provide their beach side toys, towels, hats, sun cream, sweets, ice creams, candy floss, drinks and lunch. The children who were so excited.



Today Camelot beach was alive with the sound of children’s laughter. We take so much for granted, these children don’t but did they enjoy the day? YES, they did. We had tears in our eyes when they left for the coach home. Yes, we even provided the tissues.



To each and every one of you who helped us in whatever way THANK YOU. We could not have done it without

Hi Joan

Its you who need all the Thanks what a kind person you are for organising this wonderful day out for the little ones, I think everyone on the forum would say a big thank you

Please let us know when ever you need our help, I will always mention it to our friends at the get togethers they would be only to pleased to help out.

I have a large bag of New/Nearly new clothes for your SOS stall, was taking them to Lilli but she has gone back with her son to the UK until Sunday so I will drop them there Monday/Tuesday then you can collect them, every little help.

I spent a good couple of hours down on the beach with the kids and the mums. Everyone was so excited but so well behaved, the only moans were when the kids had to come out of the water for lunch but they were happy when they realised that they could go back in again after.

One of the mums told Ali that it had been the "best day of her life" so i think that said it all.

Well done to the committee and all the helpers that made this such a special day.

I apologise for missing the end of the message, it really isn't down to me, there are seven others on the committee, and without them and the help of all of you, days like this would not be able to happen.
