Hi Puppylover

You can't buy the flip flop crocs over here, but if you want to cross over at the central lefkosa crossing point that goes in to the Ledra street shopping area, there is a Toy shop on your right that has a good range.

Bought a pair in new zealand in feb, love them don't want to wear anything else, and they do look smarter and a bit more girlie then the normal crocs.

In Girne, in the little side street where the Durum resturants are at the top of the hill, there are two shops that sell exact croc replicas for 10-12 TL.

Puppylover I have just bought a pair of Fitflops mail order in UK from http://www.lookatmycrazyshoes.com when they were delivered they are from another site called http://www.cloggs.co.uk but beware they tell you that if you walk in them for 30-60 paces and your heel is pushed over the back of the shoe you need a bigger size. It done this to me so have had to return them for a size 6 when I'm a 5. When I get them back will let you know how I get on as they were £35.99 including postage. The strap does not expand thats why you have to have a size bigger. They do international delivery not sure about NC though. Hope this helps you perhaps someone might order them for you.

Someone at work bought a pair and she thinks there great.

Thank you for replying. Will be interested to know how you get on with the sizing.

Termite....agree it is probably a lot of money but comfort is more important to me as I had a bunion operation that when wrong a couple of years ago and had to have corrective surgery.

To this day I am still suffering and need open shoes/flipflops as my foot is still very touch sensitive.

You would not believe how many pairs of shoes I have purchased in order to find a pair that suit my poorly foot!!

Depends upon which you term a lot of money, no doubt you will find them cheaper if you look around. About average over here for a pair of shoes etc. M&S shoes average that now. I'm happy to pay if its worth it. would also pay a lot more if I liked them. Each to their own. Lets not start having debates on this thread about cost. I was helping Puppylover, its up to her for choice where she goes.

Have you seen the Betula flip flops by Birkenstock - they are so comfy? Have got a pair in white and have had so many compliments. Don't know if they're available in the North though.

As a new member I politely suggest you read Rule 6.

I'm sure you are aware that Guido's is a restaurant and not a shoe shop?
