Hello everyone, now that Cyprus Today has done their article on Baby Melis no one has an excuse for not helping the Turkish family!!! If anyone would like to sponsor me doing my tandem jump (date to be confirmed) you will be able to find sponsor forms in Equity Plus, DVD shop in Alsancak, Guidos etc to name a few. Please contribute just a little to make a huge difference. My last message had lots of views but only 6 people actually put their hands in their pockets!! If you could possibly set up some sort of an account for them Im sure that many people who are unable to travel to kyrenia (like myself) or who are residing in the U.K. would donate....

wiser you should know typical brits like coming on here spouting off how much they will donate but never come across name and shame people who have said they will donate but never. measage to all you greedy brits living in tc try staying off the sauce for one day and donate that money

I dont own a Restaurant never have, why do you keep saying I mention a certain place, its just that its handy for me to drop things off to Liz and know that she will pass them on and that its no trouble to her

please get the facts right, i arrange events for them but that's all.

We also do our bit for the SOS by collecting clothes etc and donating to the beach event with buckets/spades etc.

Yet again a perfectly decent thread has been turned into someone's opportunity to draw attention to themselves and for some odd reason attack someone else. I've only recently met Smithy (Sheila) and I cannot imagine why anyone would want to attack her. She is a truly nice person who is very supportive of a) good causes b) the people she loves and cares about and c) people who are trying to make an honest living in a very difficult environment.



I'm not sure how accusing forum administrators of ganging up with people fits in the rules, but there we go.



Wiser, I too will of course support the cause and will also leave the money at the place we daren't mention as it is close to where I work.

Wiser rise above them there are a couple who pop in every time. We do collect for various things discretely as to put it on here woukd give a certain few a chance to have a go.
