I recently bought an ipod and have 'ripped' my life collection of over 300cd's to my iTunes library. I logged on to my iTunes account today to find that my library has all but dissapeared, I only have 34 albums showing. Does anyone know how to find where my music has gone? It took me several days to upload my collection and have also purchased music on line, but they have also vanished. I am going around in circles on iTunes website for assistance.

Sorry Suntanman I dont know the answer but Apple do have quite a good troubleshooting page for problems. Hope you get it sorted without having to download them all again. Very annoying.

Just a thought, are the 300 albums still on your iPod? If they are you can re-save them to your PC.

I have re booted, kicked, sworn at, but still no joy. Unfortunately I didn't realise that my music has vanished until after I had sync'd my ipod. I only noticed this afternoon when I tried to select a suitable album to enjoy with the sunshine in my back garden.

Has it disappeared from your computer

If so look for the actual folders in my music not itunes

Has it disappeared from your ipod

look in in the menu cover flow

*There are always issues with compilation albums I know

look at the tabs at the top on the computer itunes they are filters

Dissapeared from the face of the earth, I've looked in all my computer folders, tried every tab in iTunes, it's a complete mystery.

arry, even recuva couldn't find them, looks like I am spending the next few days re-ripping.

Thanks for all your help

Andrew, have you got Vista on your PC, This happened to us and unfortunately all the pre paid music cannot be restored.we used a guy in Kyrenia to restore all the other music which cost about £50.

I tunes is not compatible with VISTA
