I think you actually loved the song, and you rescinded because every one hates it, and i also think you have got video's and cd's of it and you have posters of him up on your wall.

There is no use in denying it......

That song came from my dads favourite musical, he loved it ! i tolerate it. Always think if had moved to the South pacific instead of the med he would have lived longer.........

my mum has always sung that song (not on stage but to herself, just messing around, or while cooking etc) but I had never heard it before! I want to make a cd for her maybe for Xmas with all the old songs she likes so thanks for that, now I know who the band was!

I can't believe they used to get away with miming on Top Of The Pops! Imagine expecting to see some live music now and the band just miming along to a cd!

I loved the 80s it was so creative & free, I used to love seeing all the 'punks' on the King's Road with their crazy spikey multi-coloured hair and all the bands, Bob Geldof And The Boomtown Rats, Wham, Spandau Ballet, the Sex Pistols etc the start of the 'sloanes' and yuppies that everyone used to make fun of with their alice bands & huge mobile phones like bricks , the Nintendo etc etc everyone was whatever they wanted to be and it was like the start of so many things & trends that are continuing to come back to us even now!

I wish I had kept my things in better condition or not lost them! An original Nintendo game boy or rubiks cube etc is worth so much nowadays even though it wasn't so long ago! I think the game boy was much better than the new DS!

Nataless, i've always though of the 80's as something to be forgotten and never to be mentioned again, but after you saying all that about London with the punks ect, i realised i really enjoyed that time...thanks for reminding me....i have a few pleasant memories to mull over...i wonder what everyone else thinks of the 80's....good or disgustingly bad.......and why.....?
