Please write what you remember about the 80s!
My memories are: Cabbatch Patch kids dolls, the Nintendo Gameboy, punks on the King's Road, 'yuppies' and 'sloanes' with alice bands & huge mobile phone bricks...not to mention all the bands...what are your memories of that wild & creative decade?

| I remember an unspoilt TRNC, or Turkish Federated State as it was then.
The 'Ancient Brits' who had lived there in colonial times.
Efes at 50p. A meal plus wine for a fiver.
Everyone being friendly.
Hunting out everyday goods that were in short supply.
One Turkish TV channel. Greek Cypriot TV if you could get the signal.
No internet. No mobile phones. No satellite TV.
Sounds boring but it was fun |
