What is the difference between a water clock and a water meter?

Has anyone in Karsiyaka had a water meter or clock fitted recently. If so what was the price charged?

Would be grateful to find out.

A frien had a meter fitted in Lapta and as Karsiyaka now comes under Lapta Belidiye the price I presume would be the same. It was 1323.85 tl. Not cheap is it

The cost of a waer meter should not be more than 100 TL. I suppose what they are asking for is the cost of connection which is still very exorbitant.

I have not seen a water clock yet and I can't imagine it can keep good time!!! It must have a worlwide TRNC patent.

Hi Ismet, what do you actually mean by cost of connection? The reason I ask is that I had a water meter fitted for friend in Lapta earlier this year and it cost 150TL.

PLEASE BE AWARE....there is a local price and a "non local" price..if you pay your builder...it should be about 1/3rd of the normal "non local" Price...ie about £250 instead of £1K ..local price....then again he may pocket the difference by trying to charge you the £1k...hope this makes sense about this rip off....I would welcome ELKOs thoughts on this
