Be sure you can source the inside paper bags before you buy one.

Brinsley.

Sound advice thanks, the kids will bring them over when they visit, along with tea bags and black pud.

Maybe it's a 'Man' thing, but I've used a Henry for years without the paper bags!

It's a bit messier to empty, but the fabric bag and rear filter work fine on their own. many professional cleaners do the same thing.

That's my cost saving tip for the day!

I've been trying to find a posting about Henry vacuum cleaners that was posted some time ago

but for the life of me I cannot find it or it could be that it was on another board.

I seem to remember that a member stated that the electrical shop next to Homefront furnishings sold them.

Might be worth a look.

I'm beginning to worry about my 'Henrys' sexual orientation!

He has lost one of his stick on eyes and appears to wink at me everytime I get him 'out'!

I'm sure I've seen Henry's and other Nilfisk vacuums for sale in the commercial quarter in Girne.

Uphill from the old harbour, Ataturk Cadesi? Past the Hizir water tank workshops, 100 yds further up on the right? Or try the next street parallel to the right.

If you have the Buzzbook street map of Girne it would be in the right hand side of square C3.

Hope that makes sense
