| Worthwhile this link being highlighted again..
Too many GCs don't know of the some of the unsavoury actions some "heroes" took in the "cause".. |

| Think we need to be sorry for the younger GCs who have not had full facts about the 14 "missing years"..and feel comtempt for those who felt it was not neccessary to inform them. |

| Perhaps the Island can only really move on...when ALL, are fully aware of what happened during these 14 years.
If history in schools, concentrated on these 14 years...it may be a lesson to all? |

The thread you point to shows features an individual who has their own view of the situation, which they are perfectly entitled to (if indeed they are who they say they are). However this thread is about the limited version of the truth communicated by the RoC Government and Educational bodies, which in turn limits the ability of young GC's to form their own balanced view of the situation.
We are all entitled to our opinions but it is to be hoped that they are not being blatantly manipulated for political ends. |
