happy easter everyone one , a funny little story for you . our sons went to an ursuline order prep school , we are muslims but it was a very good school and we were told that our boys would not participate in religous services . our youngest was in the nursery and only 3 at the time, and participated in story times,they had finished dinner one evening , when he became very distressed my husband tried to find out what was the matter , he said jesus was dead , and he was really upset , my husband , who has very little knowledge of the bible, didnt know what to say and my son had to go to bed very upset , and then my husband was very upset because our son was upset { i was out at the time } , anyhow my eldest son was able to tell his father the story , so my husband was able to tell our son that jesus was dead but he would suddenly spring back to life by the end of the week-end . my son went to sleep happy with my husbands theory . in the morning he came running down stairs , mammy , mammy , jesus is alive and look what he's done { the cut on his hand had scabbed over } he's mended my cut , like sister brendan said he would , and on occasions after that episode , he would say things like is'nt jesus kind mammy or is'nt jesus wonderful when something nice happened , at that time jesus was a hero in our household we still have a good laugh about it , but you know ,in our house even though we are muslims , we are christians at christmas , at passover we are jews , at divali we are hindus and on fridays we eat fish.

Hi Simbas, I enjoyed your little story, brought a smile to my face reminded me of all the funny little `ways` our two grandchildren have. This is our first Easter here in the T.R.N.C. without them with us, so we are missing them loads.
