Just a bit of fun and market research, i will collate the results and convert to % after 7 days.

The Question,

Knowing what you know now about the current situation do you still feel you made the right move in buying in the TRNC either as a permanent/holiday home or as an investor?

Or do you think you have made a big mistake and wish you had never seen the TRNC and should have kept your money in the bank?

It's easy either post TRNC or UK, No need for long winded reasons moans, groans, etc etc...............

Live in TRNC but rented. All that money in the bank, could live here "free", so to speak.

Like Robbie C and Spider, we rent. Best decision we ever made. Loving it here but can easily 'bug out' if things change. The money which would have been spent on a villa is now providing plenty of beer tokens via Creditwest. If we should decide to leave I think it would be to other foreign shores as we have no desire to return to Blighty. So I suppose our answer is TRNC.

Regards

Paul

Just wonder why so many spell "definitely" wrong? It is from the root "finite"

Know one teacher who taught in N.C who always writes it wrongly

Yes, when I get my PTP & title deeds I will definitely think I have the best of

both worlds, two beautiful islands with good folk, (mainly)

TRNC..for sure, Yes it has a few problems, but i think in time it will improve whereas in the UK, it seems to be going down. The people here are so friendly, the children here are safe to play out. London has become a hostile place, not a good place to walk on your own at night. No waiting around at hospitals here, last week my son & partner waited nearly 3 hours to be seen in the UK. Its not quite paradise here yet but if i can get my kids and their families to move here, then it definitly will be.;o)

I keep hearing about this place called 'cyberspace' seems to me quite a utopia, full of lost money, information and have yet to read anything about any disastrous infrastructure problems. I think I'll give this place my vote and take a chance having not seen it or know where it is. Must do my homework!

UK to buy. TRNC to rent.

The best option would be to invest all my money in a Turkish bank and use that money to pay for rent and living expenses in TRNC.
