I noticed at the end of the service that Berry Gordy, founder of Motown had his arm round Shaheen. Lets hope he signs him up for a recoring deal. I'm sure Simon Cowell will be pleased.

kelvin. Do you think Cowell arranged for him to sing at the service to give him exposure to the likes of Gordy?

He was booked to sing with Jacko every night in his run at the O2 where Jacko handed over some kind of symbolic baton to him signifying him handing over to the new superstar, they booked him at the funeral to lessen the kid's disappointment at missing the Jacko run

Amazing lad, brilliant performance.

Very mature for his years, apparently staying in LA for further 'meetings', with SC's hand on his shoulder.

I wish him the very best.

p.s. parky is right, he had already been headlined by MJ personally.

We had been planning at least a couple of MJ nights for 44 members in a vip facility at the O2.

His death has obviously blown that, and his death has probably cost our company £200k in forward orders.

Ho Hum,..... life goes on. ;-(

Ginty is right.

Approx 8-12 weeks ago Shahime was on Britain's Got Talent. When he started singing his first song, Simon stopped him straight away and told him to sing another song. He went straight into a Michael Jackson son and was brilliant - brought the house down! Shahime came 7th on BGT.

Jacko saw him on Youtube and was a fan. Also Shahime has been staring in the west end show as Micael Jackson. The family knew Michael was a fan and invited him to perform on the memorial. This has all been on TV a lot in the UK.

Great Kid..They said it was just last week that they were all there together with MJ. Sad how things change in such a short time..as a good friend of mine so often says...you never know, you just never know..

Loads of confidence, and looks like very mature for his age.

Hope he gets the lucky breaks he will need, beside talent.
