Hello all,

First post here so I hope you can help me. Basically I'm after a little bit of help from those based in Ozankoy.

Basically, my grandparents, up until a couple of years ago, owned a villa in Ozankoy, and lived out there permanently. Basically I'd like to know if it is still there, and occupied.

The best way I can describe it is, as you go past the metal workers (by the shop, is that still there?) and turn left past the Turkish Cypriot family that lived on the corner, to the best of my memory. The road then became a dirt track (the little 1980s Nissan they had didn't cope well with that road!) and they lived in a single story villa opposite the old ruined church. The last time I visited, they were starting work on houses next to the villa, towards the mountain.

If anyone could help, it'd be so greatly appreciated!

Also, they were good friends of Hasan's (from the Rose Garden) so if anyone speaks to him often, a quick hello from "Barry and Angela Sheppard" would

Not aware of any single story properties down that road, esp opposite the church(currently home to a pair of nesting Kestrels) mainly 2 storey villas(road still v bumpy), will have a look tomorrow and repost.

The shop is still there

It was on the right hand side, and was (when I was there) the last villa on the street I think.

Yes the single storey house is still there and occupied, there are now about a dozen villas in that area and more further down towards the sea.

Yeah they're moved out of the country now, I was looking into renting it but couldn't find it there so I imagine the people living in it are full time there. Anyway sorry if this all seemed a bit fishy, it was just genuine curiosity, nothing more!

Hi Craig J88 You said your enquiry was just genuine curiosity so it has sparked some "just genuine curiosity" in me. When you said they had moved out of the country, did you mean out of the TRNC or out of the UK?

Do you know where they are now? Nothing sinister, just genuine curiosity, nothing more!

They're back in the UK. Unfortunately the distance from home eventually caused a break up of their marriage and so as part of it, the house was sold and they're both living in (separate) houses here in the UK.
