Can any of the recent visitors to The Ship Inn tell me what staff are currently working there. Are Zube, Nuri, Jimmy, Kemel and Mustafa working there this summer. We will be staying for a night next week so wanted to know who is there this summer

No panic kids made friends with all of them last year when we stayed for two week so they were curious about if they were still there this year they can wait until next week when we stay for the night and see.

A family of four just departed from The Ship; reported the venue to be superb in every respect, except one.

Bar prices are absurd. i.e. 6TL for an Efes beer, 10% of which was ullage from a glass of beer 'foam'. Cocktails and spirit with mixers are outrageously priced.

Would they return? An unquestionable YES, but will be careful with bar purchases.

Prices are a bit dear but when you go there the food, ambiance and staff are worth it. Been there a lot and have always enjoyed it

Wouldn`t stay anywhere else and I think the beers have been that price for the last couple of years, As far as I know Zube and Nuri are still there and we will be back in September for the 8th time. If you go into Kyrenia you`ll pay between 4 /5 tl so as stated before the Ship is a nice place to eat and drink so its worth the extra tl

RE msg 6, bilko: (...) 10% of which was ullage from a glass of beer 'foam'. (...)

=> Erm.., that's how the whole world minus the UK prefers to get a glass of beer! Rule of thumb: two fingers of foam. So why not in the TRNC..?! http://is.gd/4KhHR

Is Zube the same person who used to work at the Orleander? If so, yes he is a very nice lad.
