On my Worldly travels many decades ago, can't remember which Country but came across a bar run by two gays and that was their only attire when working behind the bar. Women loved it!

I do have an apron haning up in the kitchen but unfortunately my husband needs an A-Z just to find the kitchen never mind the cooker so, alas, I can't comment on him! Not entirely certain it's a good look though.
