Be warned!



If you play the UK lottery on-line (from outside the country - even on holiday!) and you win, you cannot collect the prize, they will not pay out. (Maybe they will pay out small prizes to your on-line account, but what if you had a big win!)



Presumably, they are logging the IP adresses of on-line players. It would be easy to bar players from outside the UK (like ITV, BBC do) but they chose not to - I wonder why?

Another sweeping inaccurate statement.



You can have the winnings denied only if the country in which you bought the ticket has a law prohibiting the buying of foreign lottery tickets.



Think about it how do the French/Spanish and every other nationality who win the Euro lottery buy their tickets!!!!!!!

Yes, you can play euro lottery from country you are residing in, but you cannot play the uk lotto, I used to & got message from them warning me so contacted them. Is correct, if you win, they will not pay out. our I.P address comes from Turkey.

Have asked this codger, that doesn't matter. If the I.P address you use to buy your tickets is outside of the UK, your tickets WILL NOT be valid & therefore, they will not pay out. Contact them.

Had the same problem ourselves so looked for an alternative. We joined E.Lottery - The Smarter Way to Play their web address is: virtualworlddirect.com/vwdguest/default.asp To play is by joining one of the syndicates, had a few small wins but unfortunately not THE BIG ONE in the five months we have been with them. You can play any of the lotteries including UK, Euro and all the Spanish etc. and doesn't matter where you live except USA which isn't covered.

They have paid out on small wins so a precedent has been set, they can't break their own rules and decide to pay out but only on different amounts. If they did you would have a very sting case against them in court.
