For all you ex-pats living in TRNC, just comfort yourselves that the weather in England today is as dire as it ever is in July - I live in Plymouth (you know Devon where everyone goes on holiday) and it is 15 degrees and has rained all day!!

Here in Bury St Edmunds it's a bright but blustery morning, perfect for drying my washing!

Sheila and Daisy - just the sort of day you'd both appreciate I imagine

Can't wait to get to the UK out of this heat, main the rain continue, especially in Surrey. Do we need to bring a coat?

Cycled th 67 miles from Bromley to Hastings yesterday and i can tell you that there is nothing more depressing than an English seaside town when it's cold and wet and windy. Thank god for the train back!!

Eager (Charlie) I, personally, don't find Hastings particularly attractive when it's sunny

Used to be a nice little place. We used to drive down there just to buy fresh fish years ago. Have to say, we didn't cycle!

Kind regards

Not bad weather here up in the North, Sunny and warm with scattered showers, suits me and the garden although the showers don't suit the other half when he's working outside.

The Wicks..msg 14 Shame really, but all the southern seaside towns now seem to be so dowdy and dirty, full of guest houses that have seen better days, also seem to be heavily populated by eastern european economic refugees, not the type of place to take your summer hol's.
