Hi all. I'll be coming to north cyprus to visit family over the summer and wish to get a local sim card from either Turkcell or Telsim. Does anyone know whether either of these providers offer a pre-paid (pay-as-you-go) tariff that includes low cost calls to a 'favourite' local number?

I think I found one on the Turkcell (turkey) website called " BizBize Canımın 3ü ". But I don't speak turkish so I found it quite hard to get the information I needed!

I appreciate any response. Many thanks.

Thanks. The reason I ask is because i'm looking to use a service called 'Rebtel' while I'm there which works by allowing cheap international calls via a local number. So I really am looking for the lowest possible rates, even if they are only to 1 number.

Thanks all. Yes, I have studied how rebtel works and its not really that cheap if I'm paying 7 kontours/units per minute to call a local fixed number. It would be worth it if turkcell had a tariff that allow cheap calls to a couple of select numbers. Thats why I really need to know if turkcell offer this. A sort of 'friends and family' type package. Thanks.

I have emailed rebtel to enquire about this. But I'm sure they also apply to TRNC.

Ok so on pay as you go with turkcell how much does it cost, generally, to call a landline? In units/credits.
