Hi Everyone:

I thought I would introduce myself to this forum. I lived in Cyprus back in the early 90s and I miss it so much. I spent most of my time up at Rita on the Rocks with my buddies in the British Army. I Rita's still there???

Welcome to the forum afraid Rita,s (Shirley Valentine,s) is no longer there it has been take over, but I heard the other day that Rita popped in, so she must still be around the area

It is now the Silver Rocks, Rita I believe lives at Karsiyaka

Thank you so much I am not sure if she would remember me but we used to have good times there as well as another place just east of Kyrenia "The Courtyard Inn". We Celebrated Canada Day there with the Brits and some of the Austrians that were with us at the time.

Richard, I would put money on it that Rita will remember you, we saw her at Silver Rocks two weeks ago. The courtyard is now run by Mo, who used to be the waiter there. When we first went there it was run by Geoff, his wife, sorry forgot her name, Werner & Geraldine.

Welcome Richard to the Forum and enjoy. I Know Rita well and i am very sure she will remember you,she often talks about her days working at Rita on the Rocks...even today she is a very busy Lady,still large as life and full of fun.

I used to go and visit her at the Rocks but before I went to see her I would stop at the NAFI and pick up the newspaper for her, which she really appreciated.
