you need plenty of money though,euro and all that!!Just found out yesterday that friends have booked a holiday in the South in a few wks time,i'm a bit dissappointed for them really,will cost them a fortune!If they went further north they'd realise what most of us on here know,unspoiltcountryside,money goes further and friendlier people methinks.

Not if you are just walking around, I know they do drive a bit mad over the south, but HEY a crash helment is taking things to the limit ) )

My son was stopped on his scooter and breathalised about 3 weeks ago as his passenger was not wearing a helmet, but should have been.

This was on the way to Paralimni about 6 am.

YES, one is supposed to wear an EU std approved crash helmet..



But, looking around you have to wonder WHAT the RoC police are doing...



If one is injured and not wearing one, do you think the travel insurance company would pay out ?

yes it is illegal not to wear a crash helmet and its a hugh fine if you are stopped, But this is Cyprus and not many people play by the rules... more fool them!!!
