I use them. No great problems, and anything that has arisen has been promptly sorted.

I think 512 will be a a little slow for live streaming (my speed is 1meg, so I have no experience of 512). I understand that 512 is just about on limits for live. However, that speed is plenty good enough to download programmes overnight to watch the following day.

We are more than happy with the system. We have a 512 connection and most of the time it's ok to watch catch up and some live tv. Downloading is simple and means you can watch as you would in the UK.

We're in Catalkoy, have canx Digiturk and just watch what we want when we want!

Paul & Gwyn are always at the end of the phone if there are any problems.

We use them very good any problems they sort you out ASAP. You must have a 1 meg connection or you will have problems with the signal.

The system might "work" worldwide, but unless you can set up a proxy server, you won't get any UK programmes.

Thanks everyone, I know we have only a 512 connection (just under that with a speed test) but am thinking if I only want to download overnight and not watch live this should be ok also our connection is pretty good usually.

No problem downloading at that speed. I would think a one hour prog would take about 2 hours.

Yes, we use the tv club. Excellent service from Paul and Gwyn. Think it cost us 75 TL to set it up on our laptop and then we needed 2 cables to put it onto our tv. We pay 12 TL a month thats all. They sorted internet out with eXtend for us and it was fitted in a couple of days. Can't fault it and you can download from bbc.
