Its always sad when class footballers decide to leave your team and join another club but its even worse when they leave because the matter is taken out of their hands by agents.Carlos Tevez is a very talented individual but will be replaced during this coming season. He has decided to join a club that plays at the "tripe stadium",and good luck to him. What worries me is the philosophy of the cartell that now have Mark "sparky" Hughes as their puppet.

It takes years to build a side capable of challenging the "top four", teams need to blend and get to know each other, and Champions league,Premiership trophies do not happen over night. Its a sad day that Tevez has left United but i am willing to lay all the money i have that they will still be striving to fiinish higher then their neighbours M.U.F.C. for many years to come,

Paul.

It makes me smile ( as a Liverpool supporter ) that every time a Man u fan puts fuel in their car, they are helping to buy the next player for City.

does everybody who puts fuel in their car then buy a player ?

arsenal will be twitchy as villa nearly did them into 4th spot .

as a united supporter i do wish city some luck and success and from football point of view would be good to see all top 4 getting some tough games .

as a realist sparkys last season ?well if you have had all that money in one go and dont get top 6 target as they want this year ,will they sack him ?

Lets get real they are in it for the money, if Darlington had offered Tevez a pound a week more he would be playing there next season. It is the likes of Man U and Chelsea that regulary pay exhorbitant wages to get there man,so when other teams are prepared to offer more, then people start bleating how unjust it all is.The cure is lets go back to a maximum wage structure and stick to it.

good point topten

image rights and bonuses is where the big money is ,with united they pay well but i dont think they are the best around for pay .

with city sadly mark hughes isnt a big enough high profile figure to attract the big big names ,without spending big fees and bigger wages .

if mourinho went there the players would follow etc

tevez

just been on local manc radio, said fergie never got in touch with him.last time they spoke was after the roma game.looks like fergie didnt want him.heard liverpool was after him but chose city, looks like i will keep filling my petrol tank up.it wont hurt utd, players come to utd to play football and win trophies,no matter how much money youve got.

fergies the man not the players

Clayton, message 10. On the BBC website today, Fergie said exactly the opposite. He said he tried phoning and texting Tevez on a number if occasions and Tevez never replied. Strange that one!

someone,s telling porky,s.personally i think tevez was messed about once to often.felt sorry for the lad.i think utd thought they may have got him on the cheap.fergie has said in the manchester evening news tonight he had an idea that tevez wanted away in january.if that was the case i dont think fergie would have given him the time of day.the only reason ronaldo got away with it because i believe he is the best player in the world.hope tevez does well ,but the rest of his team dont.hated city all me life and nothing will change that no matter how much utd win.

well said BigMart....footy is good too tho, to watch anyway, to play rugby league and make hundreds of mates it even better tho!!

Lookin forward to watchin owen in the stretford end!!!! wonderin what song we will have for him???

any suggestions??

the salay cap has ruined rugby league!!, i know wigan won everything but the monet attracted the worldsbest players..., in the late eighties early 90's top ten sports rich list had at least 3 rugby league players, now a third division football player is onmore money than the majority of superleague players!!

Blinks,

We disagree there mate the salary cap is the best thing that has happened to super league since sliced bread.A perfect example being that Salford beat saints last week.Second from bottom beating the top side.Top rugby league players earn enough money trust me,

Paul.
