Well sorry you can't unless you are a VIP or a guest at the Rocks hotel.

I read a while back that Gloria Gaynor was coming to the island so was interested in seeing her but after enquiries at Rocks they are not allowing Jo Public to see her. Any spare tickets they have are going to special VIP guests. I guess that means the politicians.

What a waste when you get someone well known over here and you can't get a ticket to see them.

Pity they could not have booked her to appear at the new Girne Amphitheatre.

About time they had another 'rock' concert like the one they had last September it was a fab night.

The point is she is at the Rocks but Jo public are not being allowed in unless you book a room for the night and are a guest at the hotel. I have asked several times about it and they will not let anyone buy a ticket as they are all reserved for guests and VIP's of their choosing. This also applies to other concerts they have e.g. Paul Anka.

I believe it holds about 300 people. That is a lot of VIP's and/or empty seats.

Lets face it, there can't be too many people in the TRNC who would want to see her.
