The Watermill Hotel is opening it's roof terrace for Monday's airshow at 3.00pm. The swimming pool is available free of charge and there is a BBQ at 7.00pm priced at 15ytl. Bottled Beer 4tl, Draught 3.5tl.

Watched it there last year, great position and not so crowded.

On a slght tangent we are supposed to be landing at Ercan around 5.45 on this monday and coupled with last weeks delays on this BHX flight was wondering if anyone had any accurate info as to possible air traffic restrictions due to display,wouldnt be that bothered if on my own but have my two young sons in tow ,boistrous ,heat etc, travel stress !

Because Getcitkale airport is closed to military flights, due to some idiot running pylons across the end of the runway, the air display team will be using Ercan. This will involve some degree of disruption as has been announced already in Cyprus Today, etc.

Hi Vaughan, thanks for that info, hope they are installing traffic lights to help with the congestion as Ercan isnt used to handling more than 4 planes a day and if we are in a holding pattern ope they put plenty of fuel in !!!
