We had visitors last year who found it very difficult to find a hire car, even though it wasn't high season.



There were thousands of hire cars on the road, but few of them were being driven by tourists - I think most hire cars are a scam, and that they are used by the friends and families of the car hire firms as a tax dodge.

Whats wrong with flip flops, tattoos, a belly or 2 (we all have one)..every one wears shorts when its hot, no matter what country.....

agree with the socks and sandals (but maybe they have a reason apart from bad taste)



We cant all be perfect and look glamourous, with the slap and jewels walking out in 110 degrees.....



No doubt there are also a few expats and locals that do and wear the exact things that you are commenting on...

Uumm, this one didn't, but I did hear there were about 50 people in the sea at Kervansory beach today, and there were so many sunbeds taken. Maybe only maybe, if the tourist are treated with some kind of respect, they may return. The beach is for the day, but they all need somewhere to go in the evenings. Just a thought.

There are a few around the hotels that I've been visiting. But mainly Turkish and Cypriots outnumbering any other nationality. This is due to special deals being offered by the hotels, to get folks in !!!!!!

A couple of weeks back, there were some Italians, and a German couple. But numbers are definatly at an all time low.

Me thinks the tourists stay within their hotel complex especially if they are on an 'all inclusive' package. What is there to lure them away anyway? Hate to say it but not a lot, although the harbour is lovely, how do they get there and have they heard of the rip off prices?

What a sad load of postings, i would have a good look around in the winter when the tourists arn't here i think you will find there are just as many so called locals who are as bizare in thier dress codes.



And pheraps you should have a look around in the Uk on a hot day and see just as many there.



The bars and restaurants should adopt a dress code and adhere to it i dont like the naked bodies eiether but then i chose where i go and aviod those who encourage and acept this form of dress.

They were all at the Sempati last night. About sixty from Liverpool really happy and enjoying themselves.
