You would actualy stand a better chance if are honest about "why you want to come to Cyprus"

You might get someone that needs a worker who can also get you work permit

Dear Lanre231

re msg 1

I apologise for Yorgozlu's apparent abruptness..

to explain - a lot of folk calim they are Tourist / Students and then try to overstay / work illegally, or cross to the "rump" Rep of Cyprus - in the EU - and claim "political asylum"

Now, this ruins it for GENUINE Nigerians / Syrians / Iranians / Iraquis, etc., who might want to come..

Anyway

here is the link to website to ask your question..

Dear Yorgozlu

re msg 4

since when has "apparent abruptness" = rude?

Did you think it ironic that a non Cypriot answered the question first - as to where to ask.... ?! ..

Don't worry, I'm sure - like me -lanre 231 - is grateful for your input ;)...

No you can't go wrong with honesty, however you can go wrong with assumptions. I for one could see nothing in the orginal post that implicated this person was looking to work, it seems to me that because of this persons nationality you assumed he was trying to enter the country not as a tourist. That is an unfair assumption.

I think your remark was uncalled for, my husband is from nigeria and he went to cyprus and loved it and returned back to england. you forget not everybody is looking for a visa or work permit.

You obviusly have!Perhaps from your gc friends

"apparent apruptness"=rude

You must have felt that way in order to feel the need to mention my name(assuming)

If you want to get in to my world, you will need to get rid of the colours and keep "black and white"

to do that

their are 4 princebles

1-Watch/listen

2-Analyse

3-Act

4-Skip no 2

hope the info is helpful

Dear Yorgozlu

re msg 11

I see you didn't take my advice and want to bring in some sort of "ethnic deficiency" - GC of course! - rather than deal with your particular peccadillo.

Could THAT be a reason why "your world" would be a place I don't feel the need TO visit.. ? ;)

Suggest you try to follow your own advice , ref you own post,s and revert when the penny drops..

Finally starting to get it,but need little more time by the sound of it,to understand better

"could that be the reason why"your world"would be a place I dont feel the need TO visit.. ? ;)"

when above comment reads,"could that be the reason why"your world"would be a place "I'm not wanted"is when you'd have understood, exactly what "I MEAN"

But above all,I'm glad you're finaly beginning to get the message
