WW1 veteran Henry has sadly passed away at the ripe old age of 113. He put his long life down to whisky fags and wild women. Lesson for us all now. RIP Henry. This great man had many honours bestowed on him for his efforts. xxxx

Lilli...he had a wicked sense of humour and I reckon he was only paraphrasing the old country song "Cigarettes, Whiskey & Wild, Wild Women" when asked about the secret of his longevity ! This man was a true hero, and maintained his sense of duty all his life.

Hi cronos and 6ms. How old is Harry Patch Mark. What wonderful guys. Harry will feel the loss this year being the only one remaining. Cronos I know he was only joking just giving mtself a reason to do two out of 3 of those things. When I watched him geting the medal in France earlier this year I cried my eyes out for them xxxx
