MARDO Ice cream = Fabulous!

I tried MARDO's Ice Cream a few days ago and it was the best ice cream I've tasted in years! Flavours like Rum Raisin, Amaretto, Walnut, Kinder, Cheesecake, Tiramisu etc. etc.... and of course all the classics. 4 scoops in a glass cup is 4 TL, so very reasonable. And they have all sorts of coffee.

I've been there today again, and I'm going back tomorrow!

Something for the ice cream lovers out there!

There is one next to Turkish Bank in Alsancak and another one in Karaoğlanoğlu where London butcher used to be.

The Mardo Ice cream in Girne is called the Dome Cafe next to their Hotel

It is GREAT with so many choices

There ia also a Mardo Parlour in Catalkoy, And Ingrid, It's got to be the best invention since Volvo and Ikea!.

There is one at the block of new shops next to the Karakum Lemar, There are also Chinese, Turkish Pastry and Lahmacun(Turkis Pizza) shops there. Been tempted to start at one end and finish with Ice Cream at Mardo's at the other end.

Their lemon ice, chocolate and caramel are also delicious, oohhhh so is their iced coffee, yum.

I'm addicted to the "row row row your boat" Karsiyaka ice-cream van at the moment. The ice-cream is wonderful and you get 4 scoops for 2.5TL. He even waits outside my house for a couple of minutes now
