think Jeremy Clarkson should be Prime Minister...................Here's why

Quote: "As we know, the Labour Government loves introducing new laws. Since they came to power 12 years ago they have created 3,700 new criminal offences. And introduced a new rule every day.

Everyone's fed up with it. You. Me. The Police. Even the Judges.

It's reached a point where you are allowed to go to Switzerland to kill yourself. But if your children go along to hold your hand, they will be prosecuted.

And you try selling a grey squirrel or importing a Polish potato, or "disturbing" a packet of eggs.

All of these things are illegal. So is weighing a herring incorrectly.

I read this week they will force couples, by law, to have a cooling off period before they are allowed to divorce.

oh for gods sake. If someone finds his wife in bed with a cricket team, he doesn't want to be told by some Westminster nitwit with a side parting how long he has to wait before he can split up.

You want a cigarett

cont.......in a.Spanish restaurant? Well go ahead.

This is because politicians in France, and Spain, and especially Italy, have better things to do than dream up idiotic new rules and silly government departments to enforce them.

They have got their mistresses to look after, their expense to fiddle, their hookers to service and their shiny new cars to buy.

Then there's Sarkozy in France. He became president and within the blink of an eye the missus has been replaced with the glorious Carla Bruni.

Here our politicians are expected to stick with their hideous wives and behave like monks. That's why they have so much time on their hands to boss us about.

You have got to love him, he really says what he thinks!

I love Littlejohn, he is the ONLY person in Britain who tells it like it is. I will post on here Littlejohns column next week for people in NC, I will print it myself rather than send people to a link.

BE AFRAID!,.. BE VERY AFRAID!,...

It's looking more & more likely that the next PM could be:

PETER MANDELSON!

That would be the end of life as we know it!

How very dare you pick up on my spelling? Rofl, we are all allowed a slight discretion. Where did you end up staying in NC by the way?

Watched a great film yesterday: "in The Loop" (available at the DVD Shop in Alsancak).

All about a bumbling Minister and how the Downing St Press Sec (read Alastair Campbell) bullies him into supporting a war in the Middle East with no appreciable evidence of WMDs etc.

Stars Peter Capaldi, James Gandolfini and Steve Coogan. An extremely cutting British comedy with perhaps more than a smidgeon of verisimilitude.
