*Need Help with regards to A/C PLEASE

I,m sure this subject has been on the forum before, but having spent the worst night bed hopping to get a cool room, I thought I would just ask

My Bedroom unit as all the others have the filters cleaned at least once a month. so thats not the problem

and its still blowing out warm Air although I have re-set and NO its on the summer setting.

Please can anyone tell me how much for someone to come out and re-fill the gas as thats the only thing that can be wrong with it, also to check the lounge one, that one works but not blowing as it should.

Help wanted Quick before I melt.

Is it a problem living on a first floor of an APT as they must have a ladder, or do they install gas from the inside ???

Hi All

A kind guy saw my plea on the forum and called me to give me advice,

I thought re-set meant turning it off at the wall and setting it at the right temperature again, well I never knew there was a button in the remote control, it now seems to be getting cooler in there, so as I have to ring Nigel on Wednesday before he is due, I will try it again tonight and if so, thanks to the mystery guy (you know who you are) it might work.

Hi Smithy, I have just tried calling Nigel myself and there is still no reply... I will keep trying and if I get through I will pass on your phone number. I live in a first floor apartment and Nigel did everything from inside, he did check the units outside but he brings all his own kit, so no need to worry!

My bedroom a/c unit has started to blow out warm air AGAIN, so I understand and sympathise with you. I have spent the last two nights in my daughters bunk bed, just to get some sleep!!!

I managed to get through to Nigel and he said to ring him Wednesday morning to confirm, but as I said in

I have tried re-setting it and at the moment it is lovely and cool. If it goes warm again then I will keep to the appointment with Nigel, many thanks for your advice.
