| Are there any "fresh" fish mongers around?
(Sorry nick i dont mean Garry's missis) but i do await your comment! 
When i say fresh i mean caught that day or do the resturants get first pickings?
Dont see many fishing boats around and im NOT going to buy "iceland the shop" frozen Pollok!!

| I think the nearest you are going to get is Hurdeniz, some of their fish is fresh and some is frozen and they do supply some of the local restaurants and hotels. |

Try the supermarket off the Nicosia/Girne roundabout. Turn right if traveling from Nicosia, left coming out of town centre or straight over from Lapta. 100 yards on the right. Loads of fresh fish and plenty of choice.

| Hi Brinsley, I belevie that is also called HurDeniz unles there is another fish shop and i don't know of. We get our fish to Paparas Restorant from Hurdeniz to because it's fresh.
There is another place aswell, it is in central girne- from Erdal the perfum shop and fresh orange stand walk straight in the narrow street and it is on your left hand side. We also get some fish from him to and beleive me it is fresh. |

| If you get to Esentepe harbour early enough in a morning you can buy fresh off the boat. |
