Yesterday we went to Haci Ali Hotel, they were advertising use of the pool 10tl for the day, including a beer or soft drink, good value we thought. The pool was lovely, beautiful breeze off the sea, great we thought, then we looked around, the pool bar was closed so the other halves tripped off upstairs to get drinks, they were told that drinks could not be taken to the pool area. We explained that we would sit at the tables in the pool area, we really didn,t want to go and sit in the restaurant in our swimming gear just to have a can of coke so that was accepted eventually.

In the restaurant area there were about four or five young waiters, probably less customers, so surely if they are advertising use of the pool for the day then one of the waiters should have been in the pool bar, perhaps even have a fridge selling ice creams, that is what tourists want when they are on holiday, all facilities at hand.

We live here so weren't particularly bothered but if I had been a tourist woul
