We all knock businesses when we are dealing with them readily, so I thought I would post praise where due.

I wanted some new throws, seat cushions, cushions & a winter curtain making. Visited several curtain shops before finding the material in The Curtain Shop opposite Fiskos. Went in on Monday, they followed me straight home to measure, & I had the items on the Friday, well made, good price & really delighted with the end result. I must say also went to Mermaid who need a few lessons in cutomer service.!!!! (the Curtain Shop owner is their son)



No connection with the shop, just pleased with their service, & price.

Dawnie, I find it hard to believe that you found Mermaid fabrics lacking in customer service. I recently dealt with Denise who was cheerful, helpful and ver professional. In saying that when I went to pay the balance Denise was dealing with another customer and an English lady served me who was to say the least a bit offhand! This was on behalf of a friend in Belfast if it had been for myself I would probably have spoken to the owner who is also very nice.

I bought our curtains from the Curtain shop when we moved here 5 years ago and had no problems.

I concur 100% with Dawnie1 if it's the same shop, diagonally opposite Astro, Girne. Did a great job for me last week and even gave me credit until my Bank maturity date!
