Did you know that the average chocolate bar in the U.S. contains at least 8 pieces of an insect in it? Harvesting of the cacao beans occurs in the tropical countries of South America with low sanitation levels. Cacao tree beans are cut and piled in the farmer's field where they ferment for 6 days. During this process, children and adults walk over the piles; insects, rodents, small animals and other living things that make their nests in the piles. Actually the The U. S. Department of Health publishes a book entitled "The Food Defect Action Levels" in which they list unavoidable defects in food (insect, rodents etc.) all allowed by FDA.

so any time you fancy a bar of chocolate check where it's comming from

Contrary to popular lore, Escargot did not originate with the highest paid feudal serf-chef in 146 B.C. France, but rather with a simple, poor, French country housewife whose husband was a Roman soldier. He came home from fighting the Anglo-Saxons’ barbarian ancestors several weeks earlier than she expected, starving from his long journey. Having not enough bread or cheese to satisfy his hunger and no chickens to prepare, she resorted to rummaging through the newly planted garden for some tender zucchini or young carrots. Finding nothing, she began to weep. While watching her tears fall to the ground, she caught sight of a snail and immediately remembered her mother saying that anything sliced and cooked in butter tasted wonderful, so she began collecting snails.

When she placed the meal before her husband glowing with pride at her resourcefulness, he immediately snubbed it, so she convinced him the Anglo-Saxons had invented Escargot, and it was what all the English women were preparing their husbands, and snails were why Englishmen were so strong and valiant in battle. Believing her tale, the husband wolfed down the Escargot, and when he and his troops defeated the Anglo-Saxons the next day, he taunted the captured soldiers with the fact that he had used their own defenses against them. Not wanting to take credit for such a disgusting meal, but afraid to contradict their captors, the Anglo-Saxons went along with it.

After the French monarchy was established, Charles II, who’s favorite meal was Escargot, was jealous of the delicacy’s supposed origin and decided to credit the French, deeming one of his predecessor’s serf’s had clearly come up with Escargot since it was cooked in butter, and only the French cook with butter. The English, finally relieved of the wretched mistake, but unwilling to relinquish anything to the French, declared war on France. Although they were defeated, the English fought bravely, so they felt they had done their duty and let the matter drop.

bill, if that it's true it is a very interesting fact (or fairy tale) If you ever swim in the Amazon and Oranoco Rivers of South America please think twice before urinating in the water. Fish called Candiru or Carnero is attracted by urine smell (urea and ammonia) and it can insert it self into the penis or vagina while urinating. Then penis fish lodges itself somewhere in the urinary tract with its spines and it uses its mouth for feeding by sucking the blood. It is almost impossible for fish to survive inside of the human body. Removal of the fish is extremely hard due to the spines and if problem is not treated it can result in removal of the genitals.hoops!!!

Foreign bodies in the rectum are a common occurrence and most of the cases are treated with anesthesia before removing objects. Patients have usually made multiple attempts to remove the object themselves before consulting the professional. Common objects inserted are fruits, balls, bottles, vibrators, vegetables, and balls. However, interesting fact is that professors D. Busch and J. Starling; Madison, Wisconsin in 1986 did research and study report on strange rectal foreign bodies. Some of the unusual objects found in the anus and rectum include: magazine, beer glass, seven light bulbs, two flashlights, knife sharpener, frozen pigs tail, wire spring and tobacco pouch.

Johnny Cash (1932-2003) was an influential country song writer and singer from Kingsland, Arkansas, who sang to himself while picking cotton in the fields. His song "Ring of Fire" was refused by his family to be in a hemorrhoid-relief commercial. "The song is about the trans formative power of love, "said Cash's daughter, Rosanne. "Love is a burning thing and it makes a fiery ring bound by wild desire," the song goes.

Two animal rights protesters were protesting at the cruelty of sending pigs to a slaughterhouse in Bonn, Germany. Suddenly the pigs, all two thousand of them, escaped through a broken fence and stampeded, trampling the two hapless protesters to death.

Have you ever wondered why sambucca is served with 3 coffee beans and is set alight? In bars today it is done for show...but originally....sambucca was made in large troughs in barns where lots of small animals and birds would fall in and also defacate in there...when it was time to bottle this delicious nectare, the makers would set it alight to burn of all the dead stuff in there...(eewww) then they would add the 3 coffee beans as a tribute to The Father The Son and The Holy Ghost...or for more commonly thought of now as Health Happiness and Prosperity...
