Seen today's Cyprus Today, front page (& Page 4) .Issue 917 . Power Struggle. Read it, digest it and decide if you'd like to do business with them. I'm still regretting it. Feel sorry for the people up on the hill though. Hope the good lady recovers soon.

Suffice it to say, the Hillside site in Karsiayka has no electric. ibtek say because Armacon owe Monies. The poor purchasers paid the wrong people for their electricty connection. They should never have given money to Armacon for this work. They should have paid Kibtek direct. I trust the lesson is learned. The paper also states that building companies should adheer to their contracts. Yeah that makes sense."

Only none of us paid Armacon, it went to a solicitor, Armacon were only paying tha short fall. Vicki

People who KNOWINGLY do not have electricity and do not make adequate provision in the way of candles, torches, and emergency lights [recharged when the geni is running] are asking for trouble. Whilst I have the greatest of sympathy for the lady who was injured she cannot and should not place the blame with the builder or KibTek.



It is also believed that the owners at this site, if they are on the island, will be able to apply for their own meter within a matter of days. Therefore Armacon have eventually done what they were expected to do.

My sympathies for the lady who fell but I fully agree with John Bey. Let us not forget that in most European countries it is not permitted to live in a house without permanent water and electrical connections. I believe that Armacon's position was not fairly stated in the paper with regards to the electrical problem. We also believe that all owners on that site will be able to apply for their meters from Kib - Tek within a matter of days. I am a HAPPY client of Armacon's and give them my full support for all their help over the last few years. On our site we have seen Armacon succesfully finish all the houses and we are all very happy with their work. It has not been easy in this financial crisis for the developers to survive and Armacon has my thanks for all their help as they have managed to honour their contracts amidst serious problems.

John Bey, wise words. However, I think a point is being missed. From what I read the Smiths are the victims in this. So who should they place the blame on? In fact, I don't recall them criticising anyone. However, should they have just sat in the dark since February?

What if KibTek and Armacon hadn't finally agreed a plan to supply electricity? What could they do? They got a generator. But apart from that, despite having paid money upfront, they are still without mains electricity.

Armacon left me and others in the lurch when they failed to complete our site. I have no sympathy with their present plight.

The poor quality of that which they did do is also a constant source of concern.

Is anyone buying at the Bahceli site from Armacon; I would be interested to exchange e-mails on the status of the site as a whole as it has taken at least 4 years so far and still villa not finished.. plus I haven't managed to get out there this year to try and gee up the process.

I am unabe to buy my apartment as Armacon took out a mortage on it,even though the contract they signed clearly states they have no outstanding debts on the property. Serhat cannot be believed

Just for the record Akif Harman of Armacon Construction has allegedly offered to sell his house to pay for the mortgages on the seafront karsiyaka site. Well pigs might learn to fly first. Up to now the only things that Armacon have told are lies. So why believe the latest?

Had a report to-day,work is being done on the semi's.There is only a couple of guy's working on the site though.



Our villa has had some work done on it,but that has now come to a standstill.



Is your's a villa or semi????

What plot number is it???

A word of warning to all, when Armacon have finally finished your properties get a roofer to look at the roof tiles, ours were never tacked on just laid, so you can imagine what happened when the wind and heavy rain came.

Incesu has the same problem

We paid Cafa Yugelgazi £4500 for Electric transformer and connection. We gave Sener Law Firm the money having received documentation from the electricy company - but Sener Law Firm gave it to Cafer Yugelgazi - We have no roads, no Electric, no Water and we cannot get into our houses.

Katymackem (Catherine) I am so sorry to hear that you cannot get in to the house, over the last five years we have had similar problems with water and electricity, also unfinished paths,once all of these things had been taken care of we then got flooding that has ruined all our furniture. It is the final straw!
