I went up to Karmi yesterday and had to cross the new road somewhere between Karaoglanoglu and Edremit. The bulldozers were at it.

What the whole way?
Where does it come out on the main Lapta/Girne road. I didn't see any connecting roads when I was there the other week, so where does it actually end?

Cyprus today did a two page spread. The Public Works and Transport Minister (Sener Cagnan) quoted "may be ready by the end of Summer". One word of caution, it is being used by motorists at the moment (unofficially), dont be suprised to see on coming vehicles on either side of the carriage way.

Fair point, if it takes as long as my villa, we may have invented some far better transportation method by then. Still they have used very nice tarmac and it is, so far, relatively straight. Fingers crossed. Paul
