Err..................am I missing something, or wasn't the Annan plan the best chance to achieve a fair solution of the problems [not tainted by the self interest groups of both sides], which the late GC President pushed for GCs to reject?

just a political propaganda piece released again . the only example quoted is "orams case" i would have thought on a day to day basis more issues occur. what about people who live north or south ,commit crime and go back home etc ,even if motoring offences ?. great find paul ,but just another chance for somebody south to release something damming regarding the norht ? kav

Dear Kav re msg 9 If one speeds and is caught on camera - and returns - I'm sure I've heard of folk visiting in the north having to "cough up" on a subsequent visit... just before they "leave" ... I have read of cases in the "south" were TCs are convicted - with GCs - for trafficking drugs and ppl .. Even heard rumours of "co-operation" to remove mutually unwanted "troublemakers" ..

To avoid speed camera tickets. Take off plates and carefully cover in cling film then spray with Ladies hairspray. Attach plates back onto car. I'm told it works like a treat! Richard PS I'm sure mmmmmm will find some historical reason why it shouldn't work!

Good article. I note comments attached to the article state the obvious advantage of the EU - European Court of Human Rights and the European Court of Justice. And the potential to further Persecute by Prosecution.

Dear Parky re msg 15 >>Another piece of Southern biased rubbish<< Could you be specific as to how you draw that conclusion? re 16 CC ER, Turkey is a member of the Council of Europe ... it has Judges sitting on the ECHR... So... NOTHING to do with the EU..... >>the potential to further Persecute by Prosecution<< Wish to reconsider?!..

Phew .. thats' a relief, we are protected by the council of europe, who's judges will protect us and the remotest chance of persecution by prosecution by the EU will not be discussed further.
