Where to buy decent rugs

Is there anywhere to buy decent rugs, or am I better buying them in the uk (cost and quality) and shipping them over with our other stuff when we relocate?

You can get very good quality rugs over here, there is a shop near the Bellapais lights that has a head office in Lefkosa, they sell super quality rugs. I don't know the up to date prices as I bought mine almost 5 years ago from the Lefkosa branch

I have a large rug/small carpet on my floor that was bought in 1982 in Kyrenia.

Still as good as new 27 years later.

The rugs that my parents bought in '82 (that I still have) came from a shop in Kyrenia Gate in Nicosia.

I am told that the shop is still there but the business has moved elsewhere.

Try the Girne Wednesday market, usually at least a couple of stalls there selling rugs, large and small, that look pretty decent quality and price, always willing to haggle!
