If you have over 50,000 ytl with Iktisatbank the interest rate is 12% for sterling account the highest is between 4-5%

I popped into Continental a couple of days ago and they were paying 13%. That said I got an e-mail from Creditwest this morning to say that interest rates had dropped and that they were paying 11% on 1 month accounts and 12% on 12 month accounts.

at the moment dated 30/07/09 the current ınterest rates are as follows

up to 50, TL ıs 11% stg aquıvelent 3.75%

between 50,TL and 100, TL 11.5% 4.00%

and over 100,TL ıs 12% 4.25%



wıth STG accounts the longer perıod they are ınvested for the hıgher ınterest wıll be earned

then 50, TL - 100,TL equıvelent 4.%

and over 100,TL equıvelent 4.25%
