Hi Paul,

I have stayed in the Pia Bella many times, its in a good location and they have spent a lot of money redeveloping it,i would recommend you pay a little extra for a superior room if you decide to stay there, some of the standard rooms are over the casino and the balconies have flashing lights on them.

Paul.

Fair point Paul. The reason that its 2009 is because we changed from a one bed to a two and the two bed part of the complex finishes a year later. Were in no rush mate,

Regards,

Paul.

Past Girne Hospital (on your left) follow road round for about 300 yards, on the right hand side opposite sports ground, main entrance. Good position for easy walking distance to centre of Town. Owners from large extended family with good business ethic, they plough back profits into their many enterprises.

Have a look at http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk and type in Pia Bella for reviews. Always be aware though that those writing the reviews may not always be exactly unbiased.

If you go on trip advisor don't take any notice of the whingingup from the people from Isle of Man, they were there at Christmas never met anyone like them, when they were asked if they had any preference who they sat with at Xmas lunch he replied "no, we don'tlike anyone here". Told one of the staff they didn't want to sit with any of the rabble staying there. A great atmosphere with everyone else there, big log fire in the bar area and reasonable priced drinks, Ali the owner keeps the prices down to encourage people to stay in the bars in the evening after their meal. Stayed there 7 times altoghter will be there again Xmas/New Year.

I would definitely recommend the Pia Bella. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Ideal situation for walking into town. Rooms comfortable and gardens and pools well maintained. Go for Bed and Breakfast as you have a wealth of excellent restaurants on your doorstep. We have been twice and I couldn't fault the service at all.

Msg 31. If you had complained about the bats they would have been replaced, any problems are dealt with, go to reception and tell them there.

You shouldn't need to complain that's my point Ie sports equipment should be checked it aint rocket science !!

The bats were worn down to the bare wood its not a thing that has happened over night ?
