Hi, I have an oldish split A/C in my bedroom. There is no remote control for it, but it does come on when I switch the electric socket on. It wont work without a remote - is there such a thing as a "universal" ? If so - does anyone know where I get one? The make is Eklima - which I have never heard of!!

Try Tektan in Girne. They sell Universal remotes.

Elclima is a badged unit from China. Not bad actually but not imported anymore.
