Yeah, gidday, Richard Brinsley, from a Nelsonian now living in Girne.

I'm wondering if you're the cove I sat next to at a Pumas match last winter - if so, that would make about three Kiwis I know in TRNC, apart from the paragliding guys.

There was a (Kiwi) guy, Heaton, who used to post on The Northern Cyprus BB forum - he always got heaps of 'hits', but seems to have gone quiet recently.

ps been thinking about throwing a couple of eggs at that bloody great flag he hangs out on ANZAC day. I'm sure his reaction would be a joy to behold

Howard, who once owned the now defunct 'Marlborough' bar but imports fish from NZ to TRNC. Minertor, do I know you? Another alias name of no consequence! If you are a pom you might notice the Union Jack in the top left hand corner, it might just bring tears to your retarded eyes!

Hi Brins, you aint cornered the market on the name Richard. You seem much too polite to be the kiwi I'm thinking about. Toff a guy though, when he's sobre.

Richard, look at my pic. I don't need a picture to know you, retarded eyes or not (not sure what they are anyway but it sounds like an insult)

Anyway I'll still have a beer with you later, even if you didn't see fit to introduce me to your mum.

Hi Brins, it sure does work, magic little tool. You can use it to make sweet potato chips. I know your mother was here, I passed a couple of times when you were both getting into the car. I was hoping to meet the lady but it wasn't to be. All you'd to do was ring the bell. Hope Steve and Sue are ok, give them my best wishes. See you in 10 weeks.

ps guessed it were you when you mentioned the 7 gallon of ale.

Tony

ps was only kidding about the flag

Sue returned alone from the UK from a wedding. Steve coming to the end of his treatment. Barking, biting stray dog got put down by KAR. Lots of empty apartments to let. Your apartment looking secure, end of news from the Street.Cheers

Re message 8 - RB - you don't know dried dates from sheepsh*t about me. If you're a genuine K1w1 you wouldn't have posted such a sarcastic/suspicious reply to me - that's not the way we carry on in GodZone!

No worries - if we ever meet I'll soon suss ya!

Gidday Angela - I grew up in Oxford - 39 miles up the Tram Road from ChCh - later shifted up to Nelson and later Tauranga!

New member hiding email is of concern. 'Gidday' is written as G'day, 'sheepsh*t' is known as a dag, 'K1w1' is actually Kiwi and 'GodZone' is better expressed as 'Gods own Country'! No worries dear boy, I'm sure a few Steinies will resolve the misunderstanding!

Too right, RB!

Rattle your dags - and if in TRNC drink the local swamp water - cos DB & Lion Brown is only misplaced nostalgia!

Catch ya's at Howard's Hooray at the Fez tomorrow, eh? You know those rules!

'Why no email address?' I hear you whinge - cos I run Pegasus Mail (written by David Whatshisruddyname from Dunedin Uni) and it's kept me spam free - can't grizzle about that - so if you don't like it, RB, you know what to do with your dog's nose!

Don't know your circumstances, Richard - but Msg 21 sounds like a wee bit of a cop-out - would be happy to pick you up if you tell me how to find your marae!

I'll second that, Richard - you put the ring around it - a great night had by all at the Fez!
