ABBA DIVAS will be playing at the ROOF BAR, MALPAS HOTEL, CATALKOY on WEDNESDAY 5 AUGUST, starting 21.30. I have lowered the drinks' prices for this event! Beer 6tl, wine 5tl and spirits from 10tl. FREE ENTRANCE. For reservations, either call 0392 650 3000 or email me direct clairecat44@hotmail.com I will be there so it would be good to see some faces from Cyprus44!

Have seen the Roof bar and it looks great. We will be there....especially as the prices will be down a bit !

Thanks! I try my best!! I will get the staff to take our specially made 'Monger Armchair' up to the roof! I will also check that the roof is well reinforced - I will make sure we put the armchair right on top of a column just for safety's sake. I wouldn't want Mrs M ending up in the lobby on top of our very valuable piano!!

Sounds a fantastic setting Claire, good luck on the night , seen them last night at the Fez with family we had over on holiday and they were not good at all , it was an agreed verdict by all.

You are totally right it was sold out, but from where we were sitting there were some happy faces - not a lot till the jungle juice kicked in. There is no way I would call that music have seen better school productions with better vocals, but hey everyone entitled to their own opinion. Not for us i'm afraid, seen and heard once and that was enough

david9, I don't know who you were talking to but the verdict I heard and indeed came to myself was that it was a really good show. I don't think there are any of us who could do a better job, particularly this time of year.

From what I saw and heard Abba Divas was fantastic!! The atmosphere was wicked!! Yes it was sold out and if it was rubbish then i am sure it would have emptied!! I didnt realise Simon Cowell was in the room otherwise I would have come over and said hello!!!
