I have been trying to get rid of a stain on my travertine table and made it worse. It is now dull and the stain is still there. Have I ruined it behond repair? Can anyone help?

read in past that travertine cannot be bleached but needs a special stone soap that will bond with the calcium in the stone - supposed to leave it to soak in for 5 minutes apparently - might be an idea to ring the stone doctor for advice, get the product and have another go yourself - save some pennies - good luck
