Approx 11 weeks ago a dog was dumped on our site she had 7 pups 6 days later. 2 were dead at the time of birth, the remaining 5 have all been rehomed, 4 of them with turkish cypriots. Just posting this so that you can all be aware, if trying to rehome pups do not just rely on expats. 1 went to a Poolman, 1 to a Gardener, 1 to a Shop Assistant and 1 to a young woman in the beledeysi office.

I'm so pleased you found homes for them all and I'm sorry we couldn't help you out. Our little boy is very happy with his new friend as she's very quiet and timid - that could change with lots of patience and TLC So nice to have a happy ending, bless you both

Thank you all, the main point of the post was to highlight the fact that 80% 4 of the pups went to locals, the young lady in the beledeysi even thought she would have to pay to get a pup! If you are ever put in the situation we were, please remember to advertise in local small shops

well done jap. we also found a home for the dalmation who's owner had cancer, with a turkish cypriot. my friend still needs a home for ben, he's a lovable dog who she found dumped when he was a puppy, he has been living at the estate agents office in esentepe for nearly a year now. her dogs just won't accept him. so if anyone is thinking of getting a dog please ,please, please give ben a chance. he is a well mannered medium size black and tan dog. i'm sure he could go to his new home on a trial basis, if that would help. he gets on with other dogs ( apart from my friends two staffies) he is all up to date with his jabs ect. anyone interest give glynn a call on 0533-8482611
