Extension of character limit on this board

Hi Izett,



Sorry to post this, but I can't find a "contact us" link anywhere.



Would you consider extending the 1000-character limit on this site? I haven't been on other sites whith such a limit, and find this one a little inconvenient when trying to reply in detail at times to some of the other posters (6ms comes to mind...).



I can't think of anything serious that would ensue if the limit were removed.

Hi Rottolover, there is a contact section in the About tab when in there on the left hand side you should find an index which includes a contact section. I just found it by accident, there may be other ways to get to it also.



As for the 1000 charcter limit, I have no idea.

The 1000 character limit is the only chance some of them have chance to catch their breath, have a heart folks.

We are in the days of Twitter - I often have to tailor answers within the limit which means that they may not say what I intend to or think is needed.



I agree with the limit or the board and its servers could be badly affected. I guess if someone just kept a finger on a key you could end up with a page taking minutes to download.
