We called into Kibtek and they say no meters yet but should be in the next couple of week. We have ours to apartment but still waiting for meter for communal area lights and pool.

If meters dont arrive. Kibtek are offering you electric on a contract of 150 ytl a month. You have to pay this whether you are hear or not. You just need to go to the kibtek offices and sign up.

We are getting very confusing advise about the electric and meter situation. We went out in March, and were told no meters, but we would need to pay a standing fee of £50 per month whether or not we are there, and another said we would have to pay 250ytl per month...who do you believe and where do you get clear, accurate guidance on this?

The roundabout by the fountains by the wed. market look for the pylons. There is an office there where you can sign up for electric. 150ytl per month. There is a new charge for people getting meters. English pay 540 ytl and cypriots pay 80ytl. If you want to pay 80ytl you have to get a cypriot to sponser you.
